Hello yesterday I installed an aftermarket TS7 android unit into my car and plugged everything in.. unfortunately I thought I killed my ECU. I got it started back up as the battery died. But now it's just not shifting into park. It goes into it but doesn't lock into it. Then it screams at me like a high pitched so then I unplugged the battery. I looked in the shift gear and nothing is there. I did have to have it in Neutral to get the radio in. It also yelled at me then aswell and would not shift back into Park (unless the shift lock) I'm beyond aggervated at my cars radio as it worked for about 15 mins then everything died on me. And now I have the stock head unit in just so I can drive and I can't even drive it and put it into park. If anyone could help that would be very much appreciated!

 

Remove and reinstall your shift ****. You might not be pushing the button all the way down.

 

So we looked at it and the park gear isn't engaging not to do with the **** but the plastic bracket down inside of the shifter. We can't get it back in and the car really doesn't like it being out of there. I think I'm just screwed..
