Hello, I am looking for headers for my 2007 G35 Sedan. I want to know if the manifolds for a VQ35DE and the engine in my car, the VQ35HR fit one another. It looks like they do based on the fitment list of the headers I'm looking at, but I wanted to get a second opinion. I also would like to know if I can put DE cats onto the new headers because I want to do a catback too but the one I want says you can only put it on a 07 G35 Sedan with DE cats. Thank you.

 

They have the same head stud mounting pattern, it’s the 3 bolt gasket and pipe size that is different.


HR is larger and has a larger gasket. You would need HR cats for HR header.
