Never had eletrical issues or starting issues until now my alternator is new the 3 pin connecter is spliced but crimped well and not loose no power steering fluid leaking or oil on altenator completely dry my mechanic said my alternator is burned out because the bolt on the back looks melted and the altnator ground looks burned he is claiming i need new alternator and ground do i really need a new alternator or can i just replace the ground connection from the pictures here i need help im ready to sell this car honestly its just my only car and i need to get to work smh

 

Obviously the wire is cheaper to replace so do that first! If it don't fix it, then get rid of it.. Why drive a headache?
