I thought about the same thing, be went with the 06 because I knew it was at the end of it's runs and they got most of the problems fixed. With the 07 being the first year run it's more than likely to have quite a few problems.

well some may argue the 07 isn't THAT different, no more different from the base 03 to the base 05 so maybe the new G35 has more kinks worked out

I agree...this isn't a ground up new car, it's evolutionary.
Most of it will still carry over from the previous car.

I can definitely say based on the coupe concept vs the production sedan that the coupe is A LOT hotter but the sedan is still way better looking than it's competition!

I'm not sure if I like it or not - I was hoping that since the coupe concept was/is incredible, that the sedan would take the coupe lines and blow me away like the coupe did - not so, at least for now. Insted it looks like this is softer and less agressive, and it even looks like it sags in the back, and the back itself looks wide and out of proportion. The rims are indeed horible, but again who know what package they are showing.

But these are not the best pics so I'll reserve judgement until I see more, but I'm kind of disappointed right now. I seen some pics of the new Ultima and that seems more agressive.

But hay, no more friggen orange backlighting, and the interior shows promise.

After looking at the Sedan concept, I don't like it...not really impressed...maybe that'll change once I see it in person.

So far I like most of the changes on the new sedan. The changes are not too radical and you can still see lots of the G35 heritage. I am just not sure about the way the rear fenders slope back to meet the rear bumper. It will be good to see the specs on the new model. We need lots more pics of the interior and exterior.
I am really looking forward to the reports and impressions from our fellow members that attend the show this week.

I agree Wayne, they know they've got a good thing going with the G...
They're taking a page from BMW with an evolutionary change.

This has always been Infiniti's problem in the past...
no one knows what the he!! an Infiniti looked like, one model to the next.

I just can't wait to see a complete interior shot.... so far so good

I'm curious how well it will be accepted by consumers/critics.There seems to be just as much disappointment as there is those who like it. Of course these are just pictures but first impression is everything.
