Ian, I never noticed that in the pics until you mentioned it. That's much better.

Good find on the available and standard features Ian. As has been said many times- we'll look forward to seeing all this stuff along with the power specs in person.

Hey, for $37,300 OTD...I'm not complaining one bit...$67k gets me a 535i and I wasn't keen on the looks...some angles are good. For some reason, at night time, my G looks darn good..nice silhouette. I just see this as a good savings eventually for me to get the Aston Martin Vantage V8!! Not fast, not great..but my god to me this car looks GOOD!!!

Wow, that's an old thread but I still remember it. Fast forward a couple of years and I'm still wowed by it.

I just got my 08 yesterday and I must say that I wouldn’t trade it for a 335i, 535i, TL, RL, A4, C350, or a CTS. Well unless you would allow me to sell those cars and buy my G back and still keep the difference.

The G is darn near perfect right now. It will be very hard for them to significantly improve on it for 09! Actually it will be hard for them to significantly improve the car and still keep the price advantage it has.

They could slap a hybrid motor in it and make it much better but then it would be a $52K car!

Yea, it was interesting to read all these threads from the past and everyone trashing the new G sedan. It is definitely a head turner when I go down the road. I look at all the old G35 sedans, and they just feel old and plain, no disrespect to anyone that has one. The new G35 sedan is definitely a sexy car.

The thing i liked about the G sedan is not a lot of people drive it.. makes me feel my car is somehow exotic lol you see IS,C300 and 3 series bimmers everywhere all day everyday.. it truly is a head turner

Yea. I was thinking the same thing too. Out here in LA, a lot of BMWs, MBs, but I rarely do see a new G sedan. I see mainly older models, but not that many as well.

I live in BMW/Audi land...the nearest G dealer is 200 miles away in Albany. I love having a car no one else has...last time I checked there were only a handful of them in the state.

And I love the looks - I didn't consider anything else when I bought it. And I think Infiniti should market them to Baby Boomer guys more than it does.

Thanks to Ultimate Gee27 for bringing this back!

From the first time I saw it in a magazine until today, I still think the 07+ sedan is SOOOO MUCH sexier than the old sedan both inside and out. (Sorta OT: I can't say the same for the G37 vs G35 coupe, though. Inside yes, outside no).

I just saw 3 of them at one intersection as I was walking back to my office from lunch, I would estimate the average age of the 3 drivers to be between 65 and 70.

2007+ G35 sedan is the best looking car Nissan makes, in my opinion. Better than the Z, old G coupe and G37 coupe.

The current G35 sedan kills the old sedan in every way, although the exterior body shape is quite similar but the revamp of lines, doors, curves, etc... makes a big and distinict difference.

The curveous hood/fender flare is sexy, the headlight shape is nice, the curve above the rear tail lights is classy and the slight rear extending shape of the chrome spoiler is cool.
