Personally I think 9.5GB is paltry... I don't see why Infiniti couldn't up the storage more. That's my only real complaint.

I suppose... but there are inputs in the arm rest that you could connect media to if it came down to it.Originally Posted by Hooman6MT

it is paltry. 1 gb..even 20 is extremly small. w/e...i could still just tear up the dash and exchange it for a larger one

Also the HD may only come with the NAV.
NAV uses part of drive, music box uses remaining space.

9.5 GB is more than big enough to hold music.Registered User

Sorry, I gotta disgree here, if they went as far as to put in a high end (yet to be heard) BLOSE system then 9.5gb is not even close to enough. I enjoy high sound and when I rip I do so @ 320kb. That would equate to less than 9 or 10 cd's. I'd rather use my 60gb iPod instead of having to constantly delete and add music in the car, which I'm assuming won't be that quick and easy. That said, I do give them kudos for breaking ground on something other manufacturers will probably copy later on to compete with.

I would have been much happier with 4gb flash memory--solid state FTW! It's not like I am going to be keeping my mp3 collection in the car--just the stuff I am currently listening to. It would also have been nice to have wireless sync up--I know my wireless router easily reaches the garage.

Thats cool. But, encoding at 320kb is in most cases a waste of space. Improvements over 128kb are usually undetectable by the human ear, especially over 192kb, but I guess if you think you hear a difference, more power to you.Originally Posted by 04NismoV35

yes, the new ls will have all of that (the same ultra small hd) so techincally its not breaking ground. I am sure there is a good reason for the puny drive.Originally Posted by Minarets
