This is in response to this thread. I could not add a poll to it so I started a new one. If you have any comments please add them to this thread:

If something is being moved because it was posted in the wrong section, I'm all for it. How hard is it to post a thread in the right section?

before, only the blatantly out of place threads were moved which was good. like if someone posted something off topic in the coupe forum. but nothing like the moving of threads into subsections as of late.

I agree with Chrlesmd. What's the big deal. A lot of people just don't think too hard about where their thread should be posted and end up needing to be moved to the correct forum.

The post moving sucks. A lot the infornmation, for sedans, ends up all over the place. I don't have to look at every section, or all new post all the time.

here is a thread with a very similar poll:

https://g35driver.com/forums/polls/148209-filter-threads-into-subforums-yes-no.html

unfortunately, these polls are poinltess because they introduce several common poll taking biases.

you are more likely to get negative feedback (or in this case, positive feedback for your argument) because this is a voluntary/convenience poll. that is, you will mostly hear from people who care enough to complain about the situation.

however, this is a very strategical move to someone who doesn't know about stats.
