I'm sure there are still some things being worked on so a few blips here and there are to be expected while things are being uploaded, etc.

Overall it is working better, but occasionally I have experienced slow downs as well. Also, only on driver. Google, Yahoo, C|net, etc were still fast. I'm on Fiber so it is unlikely that I have a bandwidth issue...

Hmmm . . . It seems that you may be the exception to the rule, here, never gone. Everything is working fine on my end, as well.

What browser are you using. The system definitely had its share of issues prior to the new server upgrade. Perhaps, you are now experiencing a problem, which you had already had. Have you tried clearing out your cache?

Same here. AT work its as fast as teenage male having sex for the 1st time but at home with my old computor, the VB based sites load slow. Header loads but the actual posts take a long time to load. I'm wondering if the ads or something are taking long on my old home machine.

FireFox; cache is cleared Daily. I haven't had the site time out, just took about a minute to load. Like the other person said, it is only in the evening.
It has happened on both of my computers and on other internet connections (not just my house)

Specs (Since you seem to think it's on my end)
Laptop
2Ghz Core Duo; 2GB 667Mhz of ram; 60GB HD 7200rpm (25% Free); Geforce 7800 GT. Internet through G wifi.

Desktop
2Ghz Amd Athlon XP; 1.5GB 400Mhz Ram; 1TB of HD space All 7200rpm (50% Free); ATI Radeon 9700. Internet through Ethernet.

I haven't tried it on my car computer...

For those that were getting a server busy message, these were server reboots for some tweaking etc. and they were for a brief amount of time.

For those that are having connecting issues they don't seem to be on this end but let's keep an eye on things. I think the connecting and server issues we were having are behind us.

It slowed down a few minutes ago...

I had to wait about 15~30 seconds.

There was an insodent last night/early this morning at midnightish EST. Looked like it was a server reboot or something cause the whos online went down to nothing but built back up as time went on. Checked on my37 and looked like the samething happened there.

If it was a one time instance, fergetaboutit. If it is happening with some frequency then it needs to be looked into. From the response in this thread it looks like life is good in Driverland.
I would say it was happening several times a week easily. If it was just a one time thing I wouldn't even bother saying anything. The ads would come up but it could easily take 45 seconds to a minute for posts to come up. It was doing this earlier today but now it's fine again. I dunno, like I said even when it is happening, it's only here and never on any other sites I'm on so that's the only reason I don't think it's a computer issue. I'll keep monitoring it and see if I can tell when it's happening most. I'm open to trying something on my end but again if it's my computer it seems like it would happen everywhere and not just one site.

This site has nothing on hackint0sh. I keep getting service unavailable on that site. Now, I think the 15~30sec occasional slowdown is not that big of a deal

It was working fast this morning but now again it's taking 30 seconds to a minute for the posts to come up. Ads come up right away but not the topics.

I have had problems as well, seems like the server timed out. Would not load, immediately checked my350z too with no luck. All other sites load normaly. Have been ok today.
