I was referring to Dal's coupe in the banner . I assumed he didn't know who's G it is since he called it a Fast and Furious riceburner, when it is far from it. Meatbag's coupe is no doubt a beast though.

Dal's G happens to be my favorite coupe, and I've always liked Papa's super clean sedan. So I'm perfectly happy with the banner .

 

Couldn't agree more; thus the efforts for improvement need to be put in to the right direction.

It's not about whose cars are up in the top corner, it's about the look of the site as a whole; pasting two cool looking modded G35s taken from two great photos don't necessarily make it look right; IMO a well-staged shot of all the cars that's covered by this forums might look better, e.g. V35 sedan + V35 coupe + V36 sedan etc.; basically something generic but representative.

And we can have another section to showcase / worship those cool cars.

 

I believe the yes votes are higher because the new layout looks cool / different from the first look; I tend to think the hype will not last too long though. The companies I worked for went through the same process - changing the design to higher contrast / dynamics just because they think it looks cool, then they had to tone it down because not only the readers are complaining, but our managers and developers started to realize that it's killing their eyes. It's a turn-off for sites with lots of information to search and read.

I agree Papa's car looks great, so does the wide body coupe and all other well-modded cars, and I agree they all deserve to be showcased on the top. It's just that the pics up there need a little more work to make them fit into the design. Since the work has started might as well finish it with a professional look. Just my .02.

So I noticed the subtle change from neon white to now a bright white. Will there be anything done about toning it down? I mean at night time when I usually log in it really annoys the hell out of my eyes. How about a darker grey? as stated before..

 

Dude your perception of tuned cars suck!!! People don't even know what "rice" refers to now these days! The cars on top are one of the sickest Gs!!! Clean and very well modded! you on other hand posted a car which is half way taken apart just to show off his engine?? WTH???!!! Might as well just post the engine by itself! ... anyway You don't know what you're talking about buddy!

Anyway yes I love the new layout apart from the too bright whites everywhere!

 

IDK if it was #FFFFFF before, and now it's #FAFAFA... but that's still to freaking bright.

Everything else I'm very happy with though.




Oh and as a side-point, anyone who has seen Dal's car in person knows it's legit.

 

For those that aren't satisfied with the new forum skin, you guys do realize that no matter what forum skin that was implemented that there would be unhappy members right? There is not a single skin that would appeal to every single member on this forum. Obviously there was some thought to this new skin and it's been planned for many months now.

Not to dismiss the members that don't personally care for the the new skin, but the vast majority like it. It would be great if we could make every single member here happy with the ongoing upgrades, but sadly that will never happen.

 

Honestly the new bg is WAY better than it was 24hours ago....im happy w. It now
