If the banner is a concern then I'd say to have stock cars that way we have no issues. This has been in the works for quite sometime and like promised, we have brought refreshing and updated features to the site to make it more dynamic and fun for our community. We are striving to make the site a pleasing and enjoyable outlet for the members. Thanks again to all you for the input and helping us make this site better

 

I really can't tell if the BG was dimmed down or not. (it's still really bright)

My vote still goes for an option to switch between themes.

That would be the best way to satisfy everyone.

 

Really what everyone that's complaining about the cars on the banner needs to be asking themselves is this:

Would I rather see a couple generic, stock, plain-looking G's up there... or a couple of tastefully modded rides (even if you don't agree 100% with who they are) from members that are big contributes to this site, and really some upstanding, friendly, and helpful dudes?


I'm not looking to start any arguments or be harsh or anything... but in my humble opinion, it would be really sad if we had to replace such nice rides with stock 4x4 status G35s :/

 

The layout is fine, BUT IT'S TOO BRIGHT !!! Tone down the white background, it causes too much eye strain. Both my monitors have been color corrected, so they put out a normal 120 mcd, and it's still painful to look at. Most LCD's people use put out 150-200 mcd (they almost always come stock at brightness levels that are far too high for extended use).

My eyes burn and hell they are already bad lol... that red G is far from a riceburner

 

Gentlemen, I have taken all of your comments into consideration. I will have my people change the background some time today or possibly tomorrow. I have decided on a light gray. The fix is in the works!

 

Wow, awesome job on the new redesign, it really brings a nice, modern sleek look to the forums. The two cars on the banner are perfect pics in my opinion, the red/white really compliment the theme here. I don't understand why there's so much commotion about it, I bet most wouldn't complain if it were their own car up there, eh?

I don't frequent the forums as much now that school has kicked into full rev, but when I first saw this, it was very refreshing. It almost blinded me since my room was pitch black and I wasn't expecting it, but refreshing =D

The new fonts and icons are awesome but I agree the background color is a little too bright.

 

I think the "unread messages" icon is too similar to the others. Hard to see at a glance what forums I need to check.

 

Just noticed the preview pics in photo gallery section are distorted.

 

Was this banner up for some kind of vote I missed or the cars on it? And now that tacky body kit coupe also has some glitter? Might as well drop the top off the coupe and put a Barbie Doll in the front seat.

Add a Pony and a Unicorn too. Why not? E90post.com is laughing. And to think Infiniti participates in Formula 1. What a disgrace.
