Why am I allowed to post For Sale threads, then they vanish?

2 or 3 times now I have posted a For Sale thread, then go back to check on it later and it's vanished. What's the deal? And if there is a problem, why wouldn't I be alerted of it before being allowed to post the new thread?

i'm guessing F/S thread requires actual item with handwritten screen name and current date.

Looking at your threads you clearly have not read the rules before posting. You've lacked one of the options that gets your threads deleted. Please read through the marketplace rules.

Take note of the writing in red coloring "Any thread that does not comply with the classified rules may be deleted without notice! "

We've got way too may people on here that don't take time to read the classified rules and frankly to notify them of their errors and allow them to clear up their threads would be way too time consuming. Be familiar with the rules and you shouldn't have any issues.

I just had this happen. I did not have pics is that why it was deleted? A message to the poster advising it was deleted and the reason why would help. I went through the rules and the only thing I didnt follow (which is because I didnt have) was posting a pic ... ?

Did you violate the rules then -.-

What's the point of a FS thread without pictures? You at least need one with a paper displaying your handle and the date.

How can you sell them if they are not in your posession then? When you do obtain the wheels, take a picture, repost the sale.

A simple 2 minutes to read the rules that say "Please READ BEFORE POSTING" would have been nice too is all I'm saying.

B/c there located at a shop as I don't have storage for them. I am assuming this is why it was deleted however I had another one deleted and pics were posted. So WTF knows ... and yes I did read and obey by the classified rules. Again, a simple PM by the mod who deleted it would have cleared this up.

^simply reading the directions and following all rules wont get the thread deleted. If you got the thread deleted then you obviously didn't read the rules 100%. smh.

All these rules are to keep the scams down as much as we can. If you post an item for sale AND it has a pic of YOU holding a card with your user name and date on it, it's much less likely that someone just pulled a pic off the web and posted it so he can get your money.

However, if you see someone looking for what you want to sell, you are free to contact them via a private message here.
