Norton is a POS, the personal firewall it has is pretty dumb. Just turn off the firewall portion of the application when you want to browse, but be sure to turn it back on when you look at **** again.

NAV doesn't pickup all viruses it seems. Go to www.antivirus.com and run the free online scan for everything. I use that when I need to fix a customers computer for these type of problems. You have a virus on the computer but its not showing itself till the forum pops up. The forum doesn't have a virus.

Yea, I do have to agree that Norton Anti-Virus is crappy in a couple situations. I have used AVG anti-virus and it's pretty damn good - freeware too.

I am getting the same error with Internet Explorer. It shuts down when I try to open a thread. I am able to browse with Netscape OK though. I think the issue is the embedded links in the posts to a parts retailer website - certain words display with underlines automatically after a post is submitted and links to aftermarket parts that are underlined are attached to them. WTF??

Yes I am getting an "Operation Cancelled" on every new thread. I can stop it if I cancel the loading right before it's done. It's hella annoying.

Same here. I have to keep hitting the back button. It stops after a couple of times. I'm sure it will drive me to the point of not visiting the site anymore if it continues.
