its really just the front bumper that makes it look nasty!!

On any car internet forum previous owners hate on the new model when it drops. I've seen this on at least a dozen boards, some motorcycle boards too over the years. I think it's a jealous thing because there is a newer, faster model out making the car they love a previous generation, slower, and older. It happens every time.

^+1. its normal. im beginning to like it. at a certain angle, its muscular effect really shows, the dip between the hood and the fenders.

I like everything on the new 08 coupe except for the front bumper. I really prefer the two lower grilles of the concept compared to the production model bumper. It looks too much like a happy/smiling face for me...

I'm really glad it looks they way it does because now i can wait and be satisfied with my coupe for the next 4 years till it's paid off. I thought i was gonna want it so bad and end up trading in my car and loosing crazy money but now i have no desire. Thank you infiniti! haha

If they came up with an optional "Nismo" type bumper, it would be a huge improvement.

He11, the sedan has 2 bumpers.... why not the coupe ???

Agree +1, I think the new coupe looks very nice, updated from the previous generation, can't wait to see it in person.

Honestly, at first I was kind of reminded of a Pontiac G6 coupe. I felt like, as if an artist added many more colors to a painting and not knowing when to stop.

After looking at it for a couple of hours, it is starting to grow on me. Kind of like the ironing board spoiler on the old coupes. If it gets my heart pumping when I test drive one, then I may consider buying one. However, it's not enough for me to take a day off work and rush to the Infiniti dealership on August 21.

I'm trying to stay objective. Right now I think it's boring.

Then again, when the 5th gen maxima came out I hated it....now I like it.

It's growing on me..... not enough to trade in for one, but it's nice looking. Much better looking than the 3 series coupe. Then again, even the current G35 Coupe looks better than the BMW coupes.

I like the front, hate the sides and rear.

And still only 245 tires in the back!

Interior is still no great feat.

All in all it jsut kind of looks weird to me--like someone took the original and contorted it in weird ways. The spoiler is reminding me of the Eclipse -- yikes!

no im pretty much just flat disappointed... that concept got my hopes real high...the rounded front end really just let me down..couldnt care about the performance differences/newness. If we were all for performance for price we'd be in a STI/EVO. The G was all about the looks...

Ctk is right..they really need to do something abuot the front bumper..I mean if this was the sports version they tested..then that really sucks! Hopefully it will have different aero parts depending on the level of trim you get with the car.
