As far as the reactions go, I'm not surprised that a lot of people don't like it as much as the cars they have spent years developing an emotional attachment to, but I expect that will change this fall when the new owners start showing up with pics of their freshly Zaino'd Gs saying how happy they are.
Yeah it's nearly 100% to concept, it just doesn't have the dramatic lighting or the 3" drop that the concept version has.

Sorry, front fenders say old Tiburon to me... No way you can mask that with anything but a front cap; although this rendering looks much better than the OEM version.

No way, not as long as those old Tiburon front fenders and that chrome thingie' on the trunk is there... I know I will laugh every time I see one; what a mistake! It better perform like a bad *********er to even try to make up for the generic looks!

It is growing on me slooowwwly.New pictures helped but still excited by the 08.I like that it has 2 different front fascias: sport and base. Most pictures we have seen are of sport front end which is not flattering 5+ years of the production coupe infinti could have done better.Make me want it!

The Sedan > G37.
The G35 Coupe is a classic design.

Sorry infiniti, you missed the boat on this one.

^totally agree about that look. It might need to be a couple of inches higher for the street though.

for me.. these photos strike home how much i like the g37 over the 35. I owned a 2004 gcoupe.. love it.. but man.. the new design of the 37 offers me more of that sportcars look i'm looking for... imo.
