You will see different number of all cars in all magazines , Actually the weather and the driver make the 0.2 or 0.3 difference IMP dont trust magazines numbers

the 5.1 one was said to be an estimate, and they did not actually test it to get 5.1. read the entire article
WGAF about 0-60? Any number you read in a magazine can be beaten or not achieved on any given day at any given time.
It doesn't really mean anything except as a variable point of reference. Know whatta mean?
If your car goes 0-60 in 5 flat and loses in the quarter to a car that goes 0-60 in 5.5, what then?
Anyone who can feel the difference between 0-60 in 5.1 and 5.3 in day to day driving without instrumentation is a better man than me.

What a magazine can get doesn't equal what YOU can get. Takes some skill to pull off the best possible times. Especially with a 6mt.
So quit bench racing.
So quit bench racing.

I have always thought 0-60 is a "rookie's" way of bench racing two vehicles.
Give me 1/4 miles, 20-80, 5-60, 0-120, ... anything but 0-60. It's not a good indication of ANY vehicles overall performance.

it's when you pull next to a neon srt4 for example and u want to know if you can beat him to the street's speed limit or to the next light or not. that's what it is.
in a track what you said is valid and you have to add handling and all sort of things. but on the street i dont care if my car will whoop the neon at 140 mph, coz we wont even get there!

But who street races to 60 mph? First, I believe street racing is pretty much lame. It becomes even lamer when two "tough guys" try racing to the street's speed limit.
And when I mentioned performance, I was only reffering to acceleration.
I think people see 0-60 as an easy way out for non-technical people. i doubt most people can trully understand and anaylize many aspects of a cars acceleration. Which leads them to conclude that 0-60 is all that matters.

5.1 was an estimate and not official. Someone could have said 4.1 was an estimate and wouldn't mean much without official testing.
I think the conscensus is average 5.4 0-60.
