Rumors have been all over the internet about the potential of a G37 convertible in the making. Does any one have any information or can anyone confirm that the rumors are true? Your help would be appreciated...I am about to buy a convertible and will happily postpone if there is an Infiniti convertible on the way...

 

by the time the G convertible comes out, if it does, something else will make it on your radar to wait for. In my case I may postpone the G purchase to get a Dodge Challenger..

 

Gonna be a 2009 model? So good luck...I cant wait until august / sept. I want to sort out my car swap issues now, but am impatiently waiting for this dam car to test drive it. If it sux then i wont get it but cant risk missing out on wat i mite like...

The g37 needs to go on a weight loss program, and then we can talk about convertibles...

 

Maybe thats when YOU can talk about convert. Infiniti is gonna build this car and we all kno it.....theyre talking whether your talking or listening or not....How sick would this car be if it was like 3300lbs????

Not through factory, but you could make it that way if you wanted. Im just going to lease the car (if i find its better than others when i test drive) so im not planning on modding it. Hopefully in 2 yrs I will be sitting in something newer and better (gt-r i wish)

 

And that's a shame, because it could get close, and quite frankly, should be, considering what the competition is doing.

The 328i is 3351# -- same size, 3.0L I6, v. 3.7L V6 shouldn't make all that much difference.

The new TT is 3218# -- smaller car, but with AWD.
