From a dealer (dfw infiniti) who posted on Freshalloy with info:

"They have established a goal of having 1,300 units presold from June - August production. They (Infiniti) are contacting all of their dealers and urging them to do several things that will help in this endeavor. Like most suggestions made by a manufacturer they are elementary. Things like matching cars that customers desire to inbound cars or creating a board to manage inbound cars with presold vehicles.

The official release date 8-21 and this will be preceeded with "Dealer Preview Event" on 8-16. The week of 8-6 will see at least 1 vehicle in each dealership for showing.."

I dont know I'm not feeling the wood grain dash for the G37 S. Hmm I still like the look of the G35s IMHO.

The G37 pics with the non-sport number... why is there that hole in umm... the dams (is that correct)? My favorite pics are the ones of the Athens Blue G37; it's such a gorgeous car.

I personally feel that for the G37, the washi-aluminum trim looks better. I can't wait to see the car in person. From what I know, the pictures don't do the car justice compared to seeing it in real life.

I'm going to have to see this car in person. I'm sick of seeing pics. The car looks feminine in some shots, muscular in others, and yet, even slab sided in some of them. I know that when I lay eyes on this car it'll be a whole different story.

The intelligent cruise control is really that visible? It's like a sore thumb in that picture. lol It ruins the symmetry of the car in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure that's what it is. Many of the G35 sedan guys had the same issue when they saw pics of the new sedan. Now when I look at sedans in person, I don't even really notice the ICC sensor. Pictures really make it stand out more than it really does, imo.

Wow I can't believe that Nissan still hasn't realized the Infiniti Coupe needs height-adjustable seat belts. Not sure I can buy another car with seat belts that rub my neck.

How tall are you? The seat belts in my brother's G35 seem perfectly fine for me and I'm... 5'7 I think.
