Actually, it looks like the GTR will be available by then. Barring some outrageous markups I may opt for one of those over the Challenger(also with markups).

One thing is for sure when it comes to picking up women, an American muscle car will always best any Japanese car, and especially so if you like your women large-breasted.. Then again, if you're offering to let the women drive, get a Japanese car, specifically the G37...

I agree but why waste your time replying to such drivel. As someone who won't be buying either the G37 or 335 I can be fairly objective about both cars, and I believe that the vast majority of the car buying public would be ecstatic to have either car in their driveway. I had the pleasure of seeing the G37 at the NY auto show and IMO it was one of the best looking cars at the show, regardless of price. It always amazes me how many people feel as though they have to dis the car they don't buy.

Of the "regular" luxury companies (BMW, Infiniti, Merc, Lexus, Audi, Acura), I must say that Audi has made the best effort to keep their cars light. The new Audi TT (turbo) weighs under 3,000 lbs which is great. Even the heavier A8 uses lightweight material liberally to save weight.

The Audis have been so heavy for so long when compared to their competition that I was skeptical about the accuracy of the posts regarding the curb weights of the S5 and TT, but they are both on target. The TT turbo will go over the 3K lb threshold when it's offered with quattro which adds about 175 lbs, but nevertheless it's still a noteworthy accomplishment. The S5's curb weight is especially surprising since quattro is standard on that model, and it's far from a small car.

That's rough.

Yimbie, you're ok in my book. I like the enthusiasm.

The m3 weighs more because it's size is approaching the older 5 series size. Which is a similar weight.

The M3 also has 414 hp. I could forgive BMW for 414 hp. 330hp and barely a proformance improvement over the outgoing G35 coupe? Nope.
How much of a performance increase did the M3 get relative to its outgoing model??...I'll answer that for you...Less than the G.

Let Mercedes chase the M models. I don't think Infiniti and M should be discussed or compared in any way at this point. Apples and Oranges, man.

well actually more than the g. now the m3 is going to be besting 911's, bmws
0-60 times were 5 seconds or maybe now it will be doing 4.6 and it will have m button like the m5 that makes the suspension harder brings the brakes closer for quicker reaction time and make the throttle have a faster response. thats just performance. personally i believe the m has improved greatly since last generation but its not solid yet cause the car is not out.

Its not just on him, its you on several threads trying to defend the car like its part of your family. I understand enthusiasm, but you're extra flambouyant (sp) over the car. We all know the G37 is a great car, but the car is not God.
