hey..i have this lovely and well maintained G37 S coupe 3.7 auto 4ws. drives like a dream, however since owning it a year ago , it does make a slight knocking noise when you turn the steering wheel in either direction. happens when stationary and even when moving at low to medium speeds and turrning the wheel. Tookit to a UK nissan dealership as no more infiniti dealerships in the UK- they say there is no concern ' as this is a normal known issue with regards to the infiniti electonic steering columns ' ? has anyone experienced steering noise issues on the G37 ?

 

Check your rack bushings, bolts, and sway bar bushings / bolts, and then your suspension bolts / nuts for proper tension. If you have blown bushings you’ll get slop.
