Do you think a heat gun would work on vinyl? I have a small area on my dash where a piece of plastic rubbed against it causing it to look gray vs black.
I would avoid putting a heat gun to the dash unless you're very experienced with upholstery. Our dashes crack very easy under heat. You can try using some 303 cleaner and protector . If that doesn't work. Have a professional look at it. It wouldn't cost much.
For some reason, I just can't stop looking at the rear dif cover! I'm getting inspired. Got to stop looking at all this good stuff before I start tearing mine apart. The wifey said, "Don't even think about it!"
Listen to your wife. The road I am on currently has no end. If you have OCD stay away from powder coating. Next thing you know, your entire underside will be done.
Anything I do on this car is a waste of money lol. But we all love our cars and investing in them is dangerous but the satisfaction you get is worth it. Not to mention extending the life of the car.
At the shop to start the rear subframe build.

Installed rear diff bushing

Prepping for diff cover

Prepping the cover with stud and vent tube

Diff cover installed and spindles installed

Installed control arms, toe, camber and spring bucket deletes

Mounted diff to frame

And that's enough work for the day. Next update soon.
