Several members have come across this issue, including myself. I just noticed this after taking my car out of storage.

do you have any mods, and if so, which ones?

Idle speed is listed in the service manual as 600 to 700 RPM in Park or Neutral with all accessories off (lights, A/C, etc.).

Or disconnect the battery when you go home at night. Then in the morning connect the battery again and maybe that will work for you. That reset thing never worked on my car. But it was probably me.

when i punch my gas, to a higher rpm from idleing, as the rpms come down back to 1000, it then jumps up to 1500 and then settles back to 1000, any suggestions?
