Hey guys/gals,

My G35 is making a weird whining/humming sound from the rear. Its been a while since I've driven this car, but I don't ever remember hearing this type of sound. I've heard folks say our diff's are loud, but I'm assuming its a wheel bearing problem, but not 100% sure. I've been looking for videos posting a g35 coupe with a wheel bearing problem, but no success. I've managed to capture one for my car. I hope you all can hear it well. I can hear it in the video.

do you all mind taking a look at the video and let me know your thoughts please? I just put new tires on it and got an oil change since its been a while, but again, never heard a sound like this before...you can certainly hear the sound whining up and down as the car speeds up n slows down...

Hard to hear it. But anytime its a humming noise that increases/decreases with speed its usually the wheel bearing.

 

Sorry about that. I was afraid of that. I guess its easy for me to identify since I've been listening to it for the past week...LOL

Appreciate the feedback though...I'm thinking its wheel bearing too. Hope its not crazy-expensive
