Lol, thats illegal. There is nothing even remotly related between suspension and your sunroof.....

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act states, "No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of such product on the consumers using, in connection with such product, any article or service (other than article or service provided without charge under the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade or corporate name...” (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)). Therefore, an automotive dealership/carmaker cannot void your warranty because your vehicle has been modified with aftermarket parts. They (the manufacturers) have to prove that the failure was the direct result of the installed aftermarket part. Unfortunately, unsuspecting people have gone to a dealer to have warranty service performed on their modified vehicle only to have the dealer refuse to cover the defective items. The dealer usually states, that because of the aftermarket parts installed, the warranty is void (without even attempting to determine whether or not the aftermarket part caused the problem). As patty said, this is illegal.

They claim the added stress the stiffer suspension is adding to the car is creating more stress on the frame and causing the body to flex and the sunroof to make the cracking noise.

cusco rear lowers still does it, from what i gathered its the material used in the roof and how poor it was constructed. that causes the creeking. no big deal.

There is a service bulletin on this called "Sunroof Lid Squeak/Creak Noise". I can't find the number at the moment but it calls for cleaning the seal and applying 3M Silicone Lubricant Plus, Wet Type part number 051135-08877
Dick head is the dealer who won't fix a problem common enough to have had a bulletin out for years, even if it is aggravated by your suspension.

the box is currently sitting in a closet I know...it would look much nicer in my trunk. I haven't had the time or money to do all the audio upgrades this fall that I want to do, so it's going to sit until spring when I plan on finally having all my components. The good news is this gives me time to read up on all the audio stickies, the bad news is I'll need to live with the stock audio until spring
