Black plastic panel under front bumper/chin?

Not sure where to post this. I recently ran over something (I have no idea what, it was at night and I certainly didn't see it before I hit it) and it caused some damage.

In addition to my front bumper chin/spoiler being cracked, there is a black plastic undercarriage piece that attached to the chin and goes under the car about 2 feet. It has a crack and a piece missing from it.

What is this piece called, and does anyone know where I can order one short of going to to a local shop? Thanks.

I think this is the skid plate. Anyone argue with that?

DO you have a coupe or a sedan? The black piece that sticks down on the sedan is built into the bumper. I accidentally broke mine off as well. The only way to get another one is to replace the bumper cover (300 bucks and repaints, andother 300-400 bucks). I just snapped the rest of it off and called it a day. It really serves no purpose. Contact you insurance, as to bring it back to the way it was will be over a traditional $500 deductible. But, I would just replace the chin spoiler and forget about the black plastic part.

Call your local infiniti dealership and get a price for a replacement undertray. They'll know what you're referring to. You can also check with the guys at Riverside Infiniti (PM Rick or Mike).

If you want some bling, Zackt69 / RareJDM sells an aluminum one as well

bokchilo is right, i thought you were talking about something else. I think the whole shield with screws is about 150 bucks shipped or so

You don't need it. I didn't bother replacing it after mine ripped off.
