I jacked my car up in the wrong spot

Now the floor in my g is all raised up right under my feet on the drivers side. Has this ever happened to anyone? What is the best way to get it back down to flat again? sledgehammer? I have no idea. Thanks in advance guys

yikes. i would pull up the carpeting to make sure there's nothing
under there and then tap it down from the top with a rubber
mallet.

then raise the car again and check for any cracks in the corrosion
protection.

remove all the carpet from the front and remove the drivers seat .

the more space you have to work with the better,

use a small ply wood about 8-10 inches long and hammer on top of it on the place where its is mostly raised, be patient and do a little at a time,

i fixed a friends M3 this way and you could not tell after i was done,

the metal in this area is quite flexible so like i said be patient and do it right.

I see this post is old, but I had the same thing happen to me at a wheel/tire shop. The douches jacked my car up by the floor on both sides. I took it to a body shop and they tore the seats out and center console. Had to use body hammers/dollies to stretch the metal back to normal. It just takes a lot of time and patience! Good luck
