Hood dampers

Hi, can anyone give me the exact measurement of a hood damper, sylinder, stem, and total lenght, there is a store here in Norway that sells hood dampers, any size, but not for the Infiniti, so if i have the measurements, i could possibly get one that fits.

Not sure about measurements, but the NRG & Tein Hood dampers fit our cars well.

They dont sell NRG or Tein over here, but if i colud get the measurements i could probably get some that fits, i will try that before i order from the USA, the shipping and the tax makes them very expencive.

What about ordering from the UK, Sweden or Germany? Would it be cheaper to get it from there. If so try ebay and search for things being sold in those countries. I would imagine the UK and probably Germany would sell Tein, not 100% sure about Sweden.

Infiniti was newer sold in Europe, Not even in the UK, so parts for these cars are wery difficult to get over here, we can ofcourse buy from the USA, ebay, but we must pay alot for the shipping, and also tax and vat on top of all, so everything gets very expencive.
I just bought the JDM taillights from Riverside, and payed 375$ for them, and 100$ in shipping, and 120$ in Norwegian tax and vat on top of this, so as you see it gets expencive

The car is the same as the Nissan Skyline 350GT, did they sell that over there? If they did, maybe search for parts for that car since they are basically identical, except for a few parts.

The Skyline 350GT was never sold in europe either, but there are some 350GT in the UK, but they are imported from Japan, and Nissan wont sell Infiniti, or Skyline parts, even if i have the original partsnumber

Hmm, that sucks, usually we in the US get the crap Japanese cars and not the good ones. I guess we did okay with this car. What you need is a connection who will send you parts from the US. Buy them for you and send them under the tax radar. I don't know how shipping would be affected.

Same here, we only get the cars with, 4 sylinder 1,6 - 2,0 engines, thats why i imported my G from the USA.
I saw the G Coupe first time in 2004, when i was on a course in Dallas, and already then i desided to get one, but it is wery difficult to get a car registrated over here, that has never been sold in Europe, so mine is the only one thats going to be registrated here in Norway, lucky me, and that is on very special conditions, and one of them is i needed taillights with amber turnlights, the turnlight in the front must not shine when driving, only flash when turning, and lots of other things, but i have managed to fix everything.
Yes i should have a good friend over there that could fix parts for me, and send them over as gift, with a low value, that had saved me alot of money.
