First, my car would recognize when the driver's side door was opened (no dome light, window wouldn't go down 1/2", etc.). Next the trunk switches stopped working...on both my fob and inside the car. About a week after that, my traction control switch stopped working. And finally...a day after that...my airbag light started flashing.

Is this a bad BCM? If so, how compatible are these? In other words, if I look for one at a salvage yard, what should I be looking for (I have an '03 coupe automatic)? And finally, is the install as simple as swapping out the old one for a new one and getting a locksmith/dealership to reprogram my keys?

so did it turn out to be the BCM? what did u do to resolve?
