Belt Issue - Any ideas as to what is causing this?

Alright, so here is my problem. So a couple weeks back, the car started squeeling at start up, it'd go away after awhile... But now that sucker is on for like forever and never fades even after warmed up. Anyhow, I know I need to change this belt -- But the thing is, I just changed it in April!!!

Any ideas as to what could be shredding the belt? Just from physically inspecting the area, there isn't anything obstructing it's path -- That belt is a Dayco belt purchased at Advanced Auto -- I have a new one I'll be putting in tomorrow, and is also of the same brand. Don't know if that makes a difference.

Edit: The pics are bad, but basically gets the job done. Was just a quick snapshot w/ my camera phone.
