Cold weather start-up!

I'm from central PA. Ever since the weather drop below 40 degrees I noticed the G35 hesitates a little before starting. This moring outside temperature is only 15 degrees here, so hesitation to start took a little longer. Anyone living in the cold climate regions have a similiar problem? I just replaced the battery back in the summer, so rule that one out. Is there a cure to this minor problem?

Nope. My car does the same thing, along with anyone else who lives in the cold.

Battery just drains a little bit when its this cold so its harder to get everything turned over when its chilly out.

You are fine.

My G is like that too when it's cold out. The gear selection display lags so badly when it's cold. It doesn't change for a while lol.

40 is not really all that cold. Mine doesn't really start to get sluggish until 20 degrees or colder.

Once it starts, it runs normally. The nav screen does take some time to brighten up as it's display warms

What kind of oil are you using. A 10W-30 will cause the engine to crank slower than a 5W-30. Synthetic or mineral? I'm using Amsoil 5W-30. No problems for me. My battery might be the original too. I was going to put a new one in a few months ago, but desided to push it until it struggles.

My Double Din whines when its really cold out. That sound similar to anyone else? It is an ALpine IVA-W205. It stops once it gets warmer in the car, but at first its fairly loud lol

I used Mobil1 5W30, oil change every 6 months.

i live in columbus ohio and its been below 20 recently. havent had any problem starting it when it was 5 out the other morning. gas mileage has dropped like a **** in this cold. have you or anyone noticed when you're driving (6mt) in any higher gear and floor it how the car revs up 500-700 rpm and then drops as if the clutch isnt engaged or tires are spinning but neither is really happening?

im hoping that has something to do with the cold.

my clutch has 23k miles and tires are brand new so neither on of them are bad
