intake spacer or new plenum?

K guys i'm looking to get a little more power out of my 03 sedan and maybe some extra gas mileage. I am looking at the motordyne 5/16 spacer (iso thermal), or the kinetix racing v+ intake plenum, both are claiming to give the same power gains and all.
I'm just wondering what everyone would suggest as being the best one to get. The kinetix intake costs about $100 more but if it will give me more power that won't matter. The downside is that it is made of plastic, the spacer seems to he over priced in my mind, but if it's the better buy then that's what I'll go for.
any feedback and or suggestions would be nice.

For our cars stay with MD spacer. It's proven, developed by our resident rocket scientist, and is the standard you'll typically see every time you open a hood. Plus its $100 cheaper..

I have a Skunk 2 racing Plenum Spacer on my 2005 G sedan for alomost 2 years, and have been vey satified with the performance of the intake spacer. the spacer being made out of a high heat composite, opposed to metal keeps the engine cooler, the mind set is that the composite is not a conductor of heat generated by the engine, which in turn keeps the whole plenum cooler. the cooler you keep the air comiing into the engine the more HP. VQ35 (PN # 307-07-0400) Take a look.

Either will get the job done, I'm partial to the kinetix composite manifold. See it proven first hand on the dyno, got quite a few local guys running them

Drive around for a while then pop your hood and feel it. doesn't work quite so well in real life

you have to keep it relative :)

You have to keep in mind it is already 300 degrees; if it is any cooler it is good. If it keeps it to275 degrees it would still burn the **** out of you, to the touch, but its cooler I'm just saying, I have nothing but good to say about the product. The Skunk has been good to me
