fuel gauge problem
Hi all
need some help with my 2005 G35X
few month ago gas gauge in the car started acting up, it was showing different readings every time i start the car and than will be going up or down when i drove the car, than suddenly it start working(at list that what i thought) until few days later when my wife ran out of gas (and she wasn't happy to be stuck with year old baby in the car in the middle lane at the traffic light) and gauge still was showing 1/4 of tank.
So i went do dealer got 2 (left and right) fuel sending units install them, reset ecm by disconnecting battery after that put scanner to it reset ecm through scanner, did quick adaptation of everything is possible BUT it didn't do ****, and i still have same problem it will show on gauge between 3/4-1/4 tank and I can put 18-19 gallons of fuel in it
Can it be a bad cluster or i have other problem like ecm harness connector I really dont wona take it to the dealer so any help will be appreciated
Thanks

Technical Service Bulletin. There's a work around by turn the fuel nozzle upside down or something like that. Here's a link
