Fuel Filter

Okay, so i'm about to service my g/f's g sedan, since it was bought used i was going to do the typical things(ex., plugs, pcv valve, cabin filter(air filters been changed to K&N already),oil, coolant, diff, and a/t fluid, even the ignition coil boots), and usually i include a fuel filter in a tune up that i've done for other vehicles and friends vehicles, but i work at an auto-parts store and it says the fuel filter is a non-servicable item, yet i've read online that dealerships "inspect" them, but if it is a non-servicable item, how the heck can it be replaced? going to get my stuff tomorrow for this job, and i'm wanting to get this answered before i buy everything. Thanks in advance guys n gals!!!

My tech at Tustin said the coupes do not have one.
