Unhappy noise coming from HSD coilovers

hi guys,
Is there any one got the HSD coilovers for 07-08 g35 sedan?
the problem I had with them is that I only got them couple of days installed
and after the installation, I heard some clunk noise coming from the back of the coilovers or the spring when I ran into small bumps

is there anyone with this situation from HSD coilovers?

cheers

it's one of the mechanics who works in heasman workshop in sydney, they specialize in suspension and they're the suppliers of bilstein suspensions. My car's height dropped around 1.5 inch both front and rear comparing to the stocks height.
The mechanics said that's the maximum height they can get with HSD's. But I am curious why they cannot adjust to the OEM's height

cheers
Logan

I wouldn't expect coilovers to adjust up to stock height. From my experience most, if not all, lower the car at least a little bit.

My guess is loose end links.

Actually the highest height I can get is 3inch lower than the original height because the supplier told me with a spring preload not more than 5mm which I think it's ridiculous, And if i raise it more, then it'll start to have those noise again.
