Ambient Temperature Sensor Replacement
For a while now I have had some issues with my ambient (external) temperature sensor's readings being inaccurate. The temperature would be off from anywhere between a few degrees and 10 or more degrees. It could read the same temperature at 7am and at 4pm.
I did some looking around and found that it's a sensor that's behind the grille, off to the passenger side of the car. I picked one up on Amazon for $40 shipped. The install was pretty easy, and now the car reads the correct temperature outside, as well as changes with each degree of temperature change instead of staying the same temperature the whole trip.
The part number I found is "AX46". You can find it by searching for "AX46 ambient" on eBay or Amazon.
Hope this helps someone out!
