Driver's Seat....

I replaced the gear on the right side of the seat. Now, with the memory button pressed the lower part of the seat will not move like it did before I replaced the gear. Is there an adjustment that needs to be done?

Sounds like it's out of sync or something.

Do you or anyone know does the tracks have to be adjusted? Does the system have to be reset? The point of me joining this site is to get and give information. This is my second post and the first question never was answer.

There is a distinct possibility that nobody here knows the answer. I believe the service manual is avallable on here, try a search.

Lets break it down first. Does that portion of the seat operate correctly using the normal adjustment button? Or is it just the memory button that is the issue here?

Just the auto-memory don't operate correctly. The steering wheel and the rest of the seat functions as should.

Did you unplug the battery when doing this? If so you have to set new places for your auto seats to go back to.

I didn't unplug the battery when I changed the gear and I did set new place for it go back to nothing. It will go back once I shut the car off and exit but will not return to the same spot after re-entering the car. Is there a way I can reset the control module under the seat?

That is the way I have been doing it. I don't know maybe unhooking the battery may work.

U no what I tried setting that up but it wasn't working it may be just my seats or it only is for sedans. The directions don't say it's strictly for sedans tho.
