Found this aftermarket part in my engine bay?

Can someone tell me what this part is? I found it bolted in the upper right of the engine bay facing down. It is wired to my battery and has a switch for the driver to use.

When activated, that device rapidly generates vibrations at a set frequency.

The vehicle either does, or did, have a security system. That is the siren for that system
