New to the G family, I Need help
Hey everyone I'm new to the club and very excited to be part of this. I need help, i recently purchased a 2003 g35 coupe with 133xxx
miles on it. The same day I bought it there was an issue. As I was driving(cruising speed) the car stalled and turned off on me. I restarted it again and kept driving. Then it happenes again a few minutes later and I proceeded to restart it and keep driving. All of a sudden the car starts shaking and smoke came out of the passenger side of the engine. At first I thought it was the brake rotors or something but it couldn't be that. So I let the car cool off and tryed restarting it but it just kept kicking and not starting. So I put coolant in an the car started >>BUT<< White smoke started comming out of the exhaust pipes. I don't know what to do. The guy who's is fixing it said it was the coil pack and spark plugs was the cause is that true please help. What is the real issue here?
How much to fix?
Should I just get rid of the car?

Check your cabin air filter if you here rattling when you use your AC. I had a noise when I used my AC that sound like a leaf being blown around and once I changed the cabin air filter (did it myself watching a Youtube video) there were a bunch of leaves in there. Cabin airfilters are less than $20 and if that doesn't fix the noise at least you have eliminated a possible cause.
I guess your car was shutting down because of heat. Too bad you didn't notice it was getting so hot. So antifreeze would have run into your cylinders and ruined your bearings. Replace the block.
