Purchasing Ignition OEM Parts from Ebay
Has any one purchased "OEM Nissan" parts from Ebay? I'm looking to purchase and install new:
- OEM NGK spark plugs [PLFR5A-11](x6)
- OEM Nissan Coil Packs [2248-AL61C](x6)
- Concept Z
- [spark plugs]($10 ea/ $60 total + ship)
- [coil packs]($110 ea/ $660 total + ship)
- Total = $720 + ship + tax
- Z1
- [spark plugs]($11.50 ea/ $69 total + ship)
- [coil packs] ($97 ea/ $582 + ship)
- Total = $651 + ship + tax
- Ebay
- [spark plug]($25.40 for all six)
- [coil packs]($135 for all six)
- Total = $160.4 + tax

The eBay ones that claim they are Genuine Nissan Parts are usually a knockoff in a very convincing package.
Those VQ35DE OEM coil packs are made by Hitachi part number IGC0007, just find a reputable vendor and buy the Hitachi ones because it's cheaper than paying for the Nissan sticker on the box. Same applies to pretty much all the sensors on the DE engine, cam, crank, MAF, etc, all made by Hitachi, then delivered to Nissan who does their own quality assurance on the part, puts it in a Nissan box, marks up the price significantly. Sure you get an additional layer of quality control but Hitachi has a great reputation.
