My fuel gauge and the manual shift mode(automatic) does not work. The gauge is all over the place and my manual mode is inop. I was told this is probably the instrument clusters fault. I've seen places that repair the fuel part but not the shift part. Is there a link or article that explains how to fix this or even a place that can repair both issues? TIA Or does anyone have a good cluster for sale

 

You may be experiencing two unrelated problems. Fuel gauge has been a chronic issue in our good old Gs and you can find plenty of threads here about that. For the transmission, the first thing to check is fuse #9 in the in-cabin fusebox. If that fuse is good then you may need to dig further.

 

Would that fuse throw a code?? I forgot to mention no codes are present

 

I don't know, but that fuse seems to only be assigned to the AT so worth checking first.
