raquetball anyone?

Just wondering if anyone is up to playing raquetball at 24s in kapiolani? Need to find a new partner since the guy I normally play with is slacking.

nah, mililani doesn't have a raquetball court... however it does have a basketball court, swimming pool, and jacuzzi.

I've got a spare raquet if anyone wants to play. Or just go to wal-mart like i did and buy one. It's only like $15 the last time I checked. If it's your first time, don't be shame I'm not that good anyway.

You new guys........make sure you buy some eye protection. It is very easy to catch a raquet or a raquet ball in your eye if you are new to the game.

^^ very true though I've never invested in glasses I just end up using the raquet as protection.

As you and the people you are playing with get better, it's less of an issue. However, if you play with beginners the potential for injury gets a lot higher.

Alright GZire sounds like you played before. So get off your a** and come play haha. Nah seriously I'm stilling looking for people to play with. So if anyone is down let me know. Yeah about getting hit it does sting depending how hard the guy hit the ball. When we first started I remember getting hit at least twice a day, but now like GZire said it's not an issue. Jude I heard that you go almost ever nite haven't seen you yet.

Usually when i go to the gym the raquetball court is taken and there would be a lot of people waiting to play. Today i walked passed and there wasn't anyone playing. Isn't raquetball like tennis?

It's like tennis but with tennis I could never stop myself from hitting the ball to hard thus making it go over a fence or what not.

Kinda sorta, but raquetball is a more wristy shot while tennis is supposed to be more of a locked wrist. Plus you never put the side of a raquet upside someone's head in tennis (unless you're Johnny Mac).

Ball is different and while you can't curve it in the air like a fuzzy tennis ball you can spin it off of walls and stuff.
