Sup Fellas,

My Girl and I are going to be in Honolulu for new years , just wanted to ask the locals if there was any countdown/firework shows going on and where they will be. We will be staying over by the ala moana mall

I think ala moana beach park might have one or aloha tower.

 

^^yups thats where it's at. But the bigger show will be at my friends house hehehe and the cops be over too. (to shut us down) lol. Have a great new years guys.

 

You can go to Magic island for the annual fireworks show. Bring a mat and plate lunches to hang out there (it get's pretty crowded, but go all the way to the barricade). I think it starts at 9ish, someone correct me if i'm wrong. When the show starts you can just lay down and watch the fireworks explode above your head. Well not really above your head but it sure feels like it.

Also over in Waikiki their having that big firework show over by the Hotels... You can Pop a Squat at one of the local outdoor bars along the beach like dukes or something and watch those.

 

Where is magic island fellas?

 

^ho bah.. come up pass punchbowl... it's called papakolea... and thats where the magic goin be.. new years chee!

nah jk....don't want you to get hijacked..or caught in a war zone... magic island is the beach park right across the Alamoana shopping center.

 

I was thinking of parking in front of the cemetery gate.
