i was driving around the whole day today, delivering presents, with no incidents....then on the way home, some IDIOT pulls out of an intersection to make a left, and hits my front bumper. damages to my car include front bumper scratches in large quantities, Gialla grill cracked, hood scratched, and front plate bent.

does anyone know if i'm entitled to new parts (ie: new front bumper) and does insurance cover my Gialla grill?

i'm so pissed right now.

 

that sux man. i dont think you are entitled to a new bumper if they are able to fix your old one.

also, if you didnt notify your ins company of any added parts ie grille, then i dont think they will replace it. they will probably replace the old one. i am just guessing though.

of course, you could just get an estimate of the repairs and have a check cut to you and get whatever parts you want.

 

update:

i went to meet the geico adjuster today and the damages total $1400 (only). they will replace front bumper cover, my Gialla grill and labor for paint, and buff out the hood. they will also get me a new nismo license plate frame.

so far, the fault of the accident is leaning towards the other driver but this is unofficial yet. they still need to contact the driver today.

 

Someone hit me as well. Backing up into a parking stall, some guys creeps into the stall beside me and flies his door into my left rear quarter panel. Of course, first reaction, I jumped out cussing him out and gave him a BIG scare. I came close to kicking his butt. Luckily, the gf was there to peel me off.
