Wassup Everyone! Need some help...

Just wanted to introduce myself and ask a simple question...just bought an 05 sedan yesterday. My question is...where do you guys buy your mods? I've been dealing with Eurosport and Hypersport for my previous cars, but they just don't seem to want my business! I call them up to check for parts and they never call me back. I have to bug them 5 times a day and they still don't get back to me.

What do you guys do? Order online or just deal with the local shops? Any input would be really appreciated! Thanks.

Tom

online for me too...

www.conceptzperformance.com
www.stillen.com
www.grubbs.com
www.strictlyz.com
www.everythingg35.com
www.hopupracing.com
www.drivewerks.com

Depends a lot on shipping prices.....most independent shops (not stillen or grubbs) will try and match teh lowest advertised prices. Shipping to Hawaii (esp. on bigger sized items) will usually negate the savings though.....never have anything send USPS Parcel Post though.....

Others.....any other good places online to shop???

Check for group buys which usually saves on shipping and costs of parts. Watch out for those deals where they say "free shipping". Usually means free shipping within the 48 states.

Thanks guys for all your input. I'll probably check locally first and then online.

My friend said there's a guy with a red coupe selling his gold Volk GTUs? Is he on this board? I'm interested in those wheels if they fit my sedan. Anyone know who he is?

I can put the 2 of you in contact with each other. You will need to PM me though. Send me your name and contact number please and I will let him know. As far as I know, he is NOT on these boards. He might lurk....but not here normally.

Also as far as the local places, I would suggest SpeedGear....or known as Vakamon Racing I believe now. Speak to Farid, let him know that you are involved with the G35 Hawaii group, and he will do what he can to give you the fairest prices for BOTH you AND his shop. Speaking of which, you will also need to send a PM to peri06 should you want a G35 sticker for your car as well.

Careful about some shops. People here and myself included have been screwed by many of them. Online prices are good to look at as well. If anything it gives you a baseline, but to get good customer service and handling any returns...can be a royal pain in the @$$.

Goodluck and congrats on the new ride.
Perhaps we will see you around when we are going out.

Thanks for the help...I just contacted him-saw his number on islandpreviews.com. But, I found out that it probably won't fit my sedan.

Thanks again!

Best bet, check the Buyer Reviews forum on this site to see their customer comments. I've had a good buying experience from Gruppe-S except having to wait long for the parts. Most dealers have things in stock which makes it faster for them to send out. But on the other hand, if its not in stock, it may take up to a few months before you get it. Mostly JDM parts from Japan.

Check out Munky Wurks off Nimits.
I just bought my tires from them, GR-Beta for a pretty fair price.
They can also import just about anything you want for your G35 from Japan.
Give them a try.
