Circuit City
Anyone in Hawaii had Circuit City install any audio equipment in their car? I was thinking about letting them install my Basslink since I figure they're a big company so if they screw up my car I know they got the money to fix it. But let me know if you hear any good or bad stories. Thanks
ohhh pleaseeee... do not take your car over there.... I can refer you to my buddy at ICA... let me know if your down... I wouldn't trust circuit city to install the air caps on my wheels... well okay they aren't that bad... but really messy...
I had them install a $3K system (HU, EQ, amps, subs, speakers) on one of my previous cars. I had no problems with them.
If you buy the Basslink from them and want the warranty i think they need to do the install... at least i know thats the case for alarms...
Hope this helps...

the basslink install is pretty simple and hard to screw it up. They can tap into the speakers in the wire bundle in the trunk to get a signal for the basslink and also the remote power terminal wire which shouldnt be that hard. Then running a power wire to the battery and grounding the unit would be easy too as long as they know how to gain access to the engine bay via the grommet on the passenger side of the car.
just hope they don't severe the entire wire bundle in the trunk.....lol..actually not that funny....

Thanks guys for all the feedback. I finally got it installed with jdbinspired's help. The basslink sounds great and I'm really happy with it. Just the right amount of bass and not too much to where I'm disturbing everyone on the block.

Frostya - No prob, definately was a great investment and it sounds good.
Thanks, if that sounds good i'll get that... I don't think I want to spend too much on audio/video stuff for the car anyways... I'm happy with the stock MP3 headunit.
The only other thing i'm thinking about is maybe change the direction of the tweeters so it's not facing the dash... but I'm thinking it'll need a new mount instead
