i'm sorry to hear, but i'd also like to add......it was bound to happen sooner or later meng. everyone i know with remote start had a bubu like yours. you're lucky though. people i know ruined their Vertex/Origin/Cwest fronts, and demolished their FAT FMIC's. lucky you just got kung fu chopped!

 

damn meng! wassup with our G's? when I had my DC2, and you had your S13, we NEVER got into any accidents or boo boo's. anyways, sorry to hear about your front bumper. shey-tay deals....

 

dang sorry to see. most alarm systems with remote start can be wired to not start if youre in gear. Sound Advice wired mine this way. i am sure you can find an installer who knows of this.

some accord had remote start and banged my friends NSX..

 

i guess i forgot the little story that goes behind this. well, it was thanksgiving night. i had to go to Ha ula to spend thanksgiving w/ my girl's relatives. it was a long drive and i didn't know my way around there so i had her drive. she drove back also and parked it in my stall. okay, everythings fine. awesome. the thing i didn't notice was she had left it in gear and pulled up the parking brake. next day, 'bout to go to work, in uniform...it was a hot day...so i thought to myself "dang its hot, i should remote start the G so i can cool it off". i heard the car start but then i heard two thuds...but didn't think nothing of it. when i reached downstairs, there was the car up against the wall. see my stall has a parking curb which it climbed and then hit the wall...and it kept trying to start while against the wall. so i canceled the remote start, ran down, brought my car back into my stall, got out to check the damages...and then thud...door closes...locked, car running. Fawk ME. needless to say, i got my shet out and proceeded to work. what a wonderful day that turned out to be.

 

i know. my gurl says " its cute, now it has a dimple ". yes honey...that makes me feel...better?
