Dudes, it's easy. I've never worked on cars before the G. It took me all of 15 minutes. It's just a few screws .

Re: 350z intake

Well I just did the 350Z intake mod this afternoon took maybe 10 minutes. I scored on the intake, I saw a Z at a show with an Injen CAI and I asked the guy what he did with his stock one. He told me it's in his garage, so I asked how much and he's all just come by and it's yours, NO CHARGE! I love the way it sounds, real throaty. Almost reminds me of the sound of a honda with an intake mod, not that the relation is even close.

All you'll need is an 8mm and a 10mm socket. First remove the plastic plenum cover with 10mm. Then all you need to do is remove the 2 hose clamps from (1) the throttle body portion (8mm) and (2) after the Air Mass Sensor (10mm). You may wanna cut the little knobby thing on the Z intake at the throttle body side, that is meant to keep the hose clamp from spinning. It ends up not fitting to where the screw is accessable otherwise. Next you disconnect the small hose from the G intake tube, on top near the throttle. The last thing to remove the G intake are the 2 mount screws, both 10mm, one on the plenum the other to the right at the Air Mass Sensor end. Next be sure the 2 clamps are in place on the Z intake and connect the small hose first, then the flex end near the Air Mass Sensor. Last the throttle body portion. make sure all the clamps are tightened and replace the mounting screws. Start your engine, listen and enjoy.

P.S.
For those who care. I drive a Silver Sedan 6MT CA license plate "KRZ HAYN" = "Krazy Hawaiian". A "Shaka" is always welcome.
