Opinion: Popcharger vs. Stillen High Flow.

Currently I just have the Z tube with the k&n drop-in. Looking to upgrade. What are the advantages/disadvantages between the popcharger and the stillen high flow intake sys?

They are almost the exact same set up. The stillen gets a little more cold air than the pop-charger(stillen has better heat shield). The pop-charger is a little louder than the stillen(again, the heat shield). My cousin is running the pop-charger in his z, he loves it. I have the stillen in my G, and love it. So you can't go wrong either way. The stillen is about $100 more expensive than the pop-charger. So if money is your deciding factor, go with the pop-charger. If your worried about hot engine air and want a better heat shield, go with stillen.

just buy a stillen and run it.. and when a good priced popcharger then get it so you'll have two filters

Go.........Stillen!

I'm running the Stillen CAI along with other related
mods and wouldn't change a thing. Everything G35
will give you a good price on the CAI they are one of
our sponsors......

Get the Stillen if you're in hot climes most of the time (e.g. Cali or FL) else get the pop charger. Stillen is slightly better at protecting against engine heated air when compared to the pop charger. Pretty much a wash however on any actual performance increase between the two. you can't go wrong, or is that right?

I have been wanting to try this for months, now. I just never got around to it. I believe that DaveO has this very same set-up and he is quite pleased with it.

Just get the stillen, I think it alone is good enough and is best bang for the buck
