I have a Nismo CAI on my G. Between 3500 and 4500 rpms it lets out a nice sqweak if you will. any suggestions on how to make it stop?

 

I wonder if your filter is dirty enough that the bypass valve is opening?

 

take it off and put on my weapon-r intake. never heard of this issue... can you describe the sqeak better?...

 

i guess its like a high pitched whistle. eeeeee. ha. could it be a leak or air escaping.

 

i think it may be just a normal intake sound - air rushing in into the engine. my weapon-r did that, and my pop-charger/z-tube did that. by removing the stock resonator from the intake tube, you get to hear a lot of what's going on inside it.

 

discussed many times before but yes it is normal after intake modification....the sucking in and squeak sound.

 

i'm new to the forum so i should of searched i guess before i posted. either way my car sounds like a piece of ****. when i pull up to the line and whistle the whole way off it.
