How many exhausts is too much?

Went through 3 exhausts in a year's span.

HKS Hi power

Fuji

and now...
I have an Amuse coming

---

When you changed exhausts, what was the reason and was it better or for worse?

HKS-- The look was good when it first got on the car. Sounded good n/a. But then I wanted to go back to the single can OEM look. Plus I needed to get something that wasn't a true dual for turbo.

Fuji-- Wow, awesome. Look was incredible. I could polish that thing and you can have a nice mirror of the pavement behind me. Tips was beautiful. Sound wise was great also, very very quiet with the turbo.

Amuse-- It was a very impulsive buy. Nate posted it and I jumped. Not sure what to say just yet since it's not here yet. The look and weight is definately a big up. I'm kind of afraid of how it will sound and how loud it will end up being..

I'm the wrong person to ask or likely answer this question

For me...I lost count after about 14 or so...

Do it right...for the last time...

Not a bad approach if you know enough to make decisions. You can't rely on exhaust shops to interpret your desires...trust me..

I went through three also:

Greddy evo2: Sounds similar to stock, jus a tad deeper. But, also a tad quieter than stock, which is too quiet for me.

Injen: Loud, deep, and mean. A little droning, but that didn't bother me. Great sound when your foot is off the throttle and car is slowing down. I just wanted a different sound after a while. Gonna be up for sale soon also.

Fast Intentions: Deeper and louder than stock, but still retains stock note as rpms rise. Great looking tips and very smooth sounding exhaust. IMO, fits the personality of the G.

Exhaust systems..........

You didn't give a reason why you changed systems
or are you never satisfied with most mods? I too
am on my third system.....the first was a Stillen
true dual system given to me and never installed...
the second was a true dual Borla system which
sounded ok but not great....the third is my current
system by Magnaflow with a Fuji Y only installed
because it was also given to me. Bottom line is I
should have installed the Stillen system and been
happy with it......nothing like hindsite!

Never said that...but thanks for helping out!

The point I MADE, was that having a custom exhaust made is not an easy thing to do, or necessarily cheap at all.

I agree with the do it right the first one and only once. Having too many exhausts is a bad thing.
