Sorry man - Intellectual Property is just that - and by definition here - none of your business. I PM'd you under confidence with some info and thought there was some understanding there.

Some of us, I guess, show our true colors when you give them time.

I too am a consultant. It's my job to educate my clients so THEY can make intelligent and educated decisions for their businesses. We work with companies spanning from 20 million to 200 million to more than 4 billion dollars.

It is not my job to make the decision for them, only to make sure they understand the possible ramifications of making certain ones. therefore I have to make sure I know what I ma doing, or have the people on hand that do.

Now, for my hobby-life - that would be cars. I don't own a shop, now. Used to, but not now. When these cars came about a few years back I was energized to see the return of the Z, but more energized to see Nissan to it right with the G. I've been an avid Z owner and builder for years, as well as a Ford builder and restoration specialist - in a past life

Now, I am more concentrated on the solution that fits a need. So this thread is perfect, until more recently, for me to be involved in. I've spent lots of dollars learning and testing the mods available for these cars and how they work independently and together and mixed in many ways and combinations.

I've been doing lots of development and R&D for new solutions that are expected to come to market later next year, when the rebuild and off lease market truly comes into play. This is when all of these companies your arguing about now will either go under or stay in business. Look at the 280 and 300Z market - there are only a few really recognized high end solutions now still in play - watch out for that - they exist now for our cars - and will later too.

Nothing personal. Just a fact that you spew more bs/incorrect information/ and not backed claims than anyone on this forum. And now your attacking a vendor/sponsor.

And sorry but you on all the topics have caused every thread to go to POT. That is why no one likes you. Wonder why you have so many arguements with people on this forum dave? Get a clue.

If that's the case, then there will be plenty of disappointed people throughout this site when they dyno their headers/intakes/catbacks/etc and take note that the mods only gain 0% to 25% of their claims.
No if you are a sponsor usually you get free product to ACTUALLY test. You are no better than the people you accuse of having "fake dynos." How many of these products do you or have actually owned and tested? A sponsor probably has installed and tested and dynoed. If you would like please purchase all these mods and run an indepedent dyno, I'll throw in 10 bucks for your troubles to help with the dyno cost. I've bought multiple mods that are supposed to be killer gains, I dynoed it and no it wasn't killer gains, but it was still gains and for the price I felt confident that it was a good overall mod.

They would not survive if they actually had to deal with real clients/corporations that have big money and legal teams at their side just in case the vendor didn't provide the a quality service/product. We have saying in my field, "Watch your ***".
Ok so if you are an environmental consultant what business do you have going against mechanical engineers -ie Tony of Motordyne, I have a Computer Engineering degree and know some mechanics from classes I took but if someone knows their $hit and has the degree generally you should conceed. I am in IT consulting and we do offer up RFPs just as you would, to get clients. However if you are developing a product, or something that if leaked would hurt your business you as a business make the decision to allow X amount out and Y amount in. And saying these aftermarket companies are run by ppl w no biz / personal skills is very bold, obviously they are doing something right to stay in business - what about many of these magazine order performance companies? Is Stillen a joke, or Summit Racing? Many products are of quality but yes the gains are always going to be optimal, would you want to show your worst dyno of 100, no you pick the best. Again you are simply looking at marketing - let's look at results from everyone. My personal ones arent the greatest when I installed the spacer but I did enjoy the sound and torque gains.

A debate requires NO personal attacks. Bickering usually is when people who can't agree or can't substainate their claims resort to name calling or anything else. You have put personal stuff in too Dave, both groups are in the wrong, and just like the ME until both sides can acknowledge each other doing the wrong nothing will get accomplished. And as you would do, there are plenty of threads where you have taken it off topic, be the bigger person, pretend this is a business opportunity and present yourself and the better company / person - not some 16 yr old rice kid who wants to add Type R stickers to add 100hp.... /end rant
